I chose to create the images for my novellla, The Carpenter and The Goat Herder. I decided on a highly stylised digital format as a contrast to the more traditional story style. The prose is written in a naive voice to reflect the stylised, innocent African setting.
For this book, I decided to use a combined approach, using both hand drawn and digital techniques. I used Pixelmator Pro again, this time to add waterolour-like flashes.
